Late Ragini (Srisharada) Salgia

Ragini, The Founder of Sprinkles Cancer Care Foundation, was a Cancer Warrior herself. She was diagnosed with a rare cancer in April 2016 and for five years, valiantly fought the cancer.

Always brave, strong, determined, and positive, her never-give-up attitude was a source of inspiration to all around her!To honor her wishes, the day before she left this world, she and her family founded Sprinkles Cancer Care Foundation, to support other patients in their battle against cancer

Having lost her husband almost 3 decades ago, my mother had lead a very difficult life. She worked very hard to make ends meet and raise the 3 of us – to make us what we are today. Just as we started to reap the fruits of her hard work & perseverance, we realized the happiness was short lived. In November 2017, she was detected with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer.
